Nevada is a mixed background Otipemisiwak (Métis) and member of the Métis Nation of Alberta (MNA). Nevada is a co-founder, educator, and consultant with the Collective Wellness Pow Wow.
An old-style fancy dancer, she holds a master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and is a trained Indigenous Focusing-Oriented Therapy (IFOT) therapist. Ouellette is currently perusing a PhD in Counselling Psychology at the University of Calgary. Her work focuses on Indigenous approaches to research, community engagement, Indigenous trauma work/addiction and overcoming structural barriers that exist within the fields of mental health, research, and education. Combined with life experience, her passion lies in supporting other Indigenous individuals on their healing journey and providing culturally relevant training for therapist working with Indigenous clients.

Kyle is Niitistapii (Blackfoot) from the Kainai First Nations Blood Tribe.
He is a co- founder, motivational speaker, and educator with Collective Wellness Pow Wow. Young Pine is board member of Cousins Skateboard Community and enjoys working with youth, encouraging them to embrace their Indigeneity. A southern-style fancy feather dancer, his pow wow travels have taken him all over North America, competing at high-level pow wows.
When he’s not dancing, bridging the gap, or skating, Young Pine is a red seal plumber and gasfitter, owner of Fancy Feather and Plumbing and Gas Co.
